Feast of the Passover … Pointing us to a Savior!

Feast of the Passover … Pointing us to a Savior!

$1.50

This Passover lesson is written as a participatory celebration for Christians who would like to experience how the traditional Passover Seder intersects with Jesus’ last supper the night He was arrested. From beginning to end this is a hands-on meal as guests discover that Jesus, the Promised Messiah, is foreshadowed throughout the meal. We have woven the most applicable portions from the Jewish Haggadah with key portions of the gospel accounts where Jesus celebrated His final Passover with the disciples.

In an easy to understand, conversational style, this lesson has been written so that the leader of the meal can read the text while engaging the students in key elements of the meal such as dipping the matzo (flatbread) in maror (horseradish), hiding the afikomen (matzo) and identifying the ten plagues while placing a drop of juice on a white napkin for each one.

This is a great family event for your church as children are engaged throughout with little opportunity for boredom. It would also be quite appropriate for a family meal, homeschooling event, youth group meeting or women’s Bible study.
