The powerful book of Revelation reveals Jesus Christ in His full glory and gives us hope for the future, showing that God’s ultimate victory is certain. Students will gain a deeper understanding of God’s future plan, the Second Coming of Christ, and the promise of Heaven.
➡️This 10-lesson interactive Bible curriculum is designed for Christian schools, homeschool families, Sunday schools, and youth groups. It provides engaging, hands-on activities that help students grasp the key events and themes of Revelation.
❔️Why teach the book of Revelation to your students? While there is always the risk of nightmares, unanswerable questions and misunderstandings, the benefits far outweigh the potential issues. Without Revelation we are left to live in a hopeless world that is overrun by corruption, violence and injustice. Evil runs rampant on the earth even while Jesus reigns supreme in our hearts. While our salvation is secure, we yearn for the day when Christ will reign in glory and majesty on the earth and the evil we witness daily will be conquered and vanquished from the earth. The book of Revelation provides us with that peek into the future, but even more than that, Jesus Christ is REVEALED in all of His glory and in the end, the Lamb of God, suffering servant and humble teacher WINS! Knowing this changes our outlook and will change your students as well – Heaven is ahead! ⭐️

And lastly, in case you’re wondering … ⁉️
Eschatology (study of the final events of the world) is one of the most hotly contested secondary issues in all of Christendom. What happens to the believers during the tribulation has been debated by Biblical scholars with many valid and diverse viewpoints. This lesson does not take a strong stand on the timing of the rapture. Why? Because the Bible isn’t definitively clear. However, let me tip my hand a bit. God has a clear track record of protecting His covenantal people during times in which punishment is being meted out to the general population. (For example the enslaved Israelite people were kept from many of the plagues that descended on the Egyptians as God warned them to “let my people go.”)
Undoubtedly this debate will rage on until Christ returns, but it is nearly impossible to write a curriculum on Revelation without sorting out these issues and making a determination on how the lesson will proceed. So, for the purposes of this study, there is a definite leaning toward the “pre-trib” position, but all three possibilities (pre/mid/post trib) are explained carefully to the students with the clear point that the Bible does not tell us explicitly. To that end, the lesson is written with the thought that every believer who is alive or deceased will be raptured and taken up to Heaven where we will remain during the earth’s seven years of tribulation. It is during this time that the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and the Judgment Seat of Christ will occur. After the tribulation, Christ will return with His people to defeat the armies of the world rallied by Satan himself. The battle handily won, we will reign with Christ on earth for one thousand years. A new heaven and a new earth usher in eternity where we will love and worship our Savior forevermore!
✔️Our goal with each lesson is to combine scholarly study in a fun, interactive way so that students not only experience the rich Biblical narrative but also to whet their appetite for more by learning how to study the Scriptures for themselves.
